there was a joyful wedding this weekend.

the bride was giddy during the ceremony and said "i do" over and over.

the groom had a silly grin on his face as he looked at his bride.

and then they ate hamburgers and cake, walked home in the rain, then laughed through the evening.

after hearing the events of last night from a patient's wife,

i said to her, "you are carrying a lot right now."

she looked at me and said,

"i am carrying very little... God is carrying it all."

this gave her great comfort. this reminded me that i am being carried.

this reminded me to trust.
